For 5 years, Almond Tree Films Rwanda has contributed on the filmmaking development and
modernization of the film art in Rwanda, the company focuses on production and takes part in building the industry.
IN THE MOOD FOR FUTURE ACTORS
With this big need of telling Rwandan stories and letting cinema become not only an occupation but a living style of people passionate about it, Almond Tree Films Rwanda started a new way of involving new talents in the film industry building process. This is done through the “IN THE MOOD” a ten days intensive acting workshop.
During this workshop, 30 actors (beginners, amateurs, advanced,…) are selected to be mentored intensively by professionals.
This year’s program starts in December 3, 2012.
During this workshop, determined and passionate actors will be offered :
- An everyday acting theories and practices by a professional mentor,
- Master classes with experienced actors
- An audition video for future use

Participation conditions:
- Applicants to this workshop must be at least 14 years old
- Applicants must be able to express themselves in English or in French, and good at speaking Kinyarwanda.
- Applicants agree to be available full time during all sessions of the workshop.
